Bill and Jody's legacy lives on as the next generation of Big Bears have taken over operations of the Big Bear Motel! We are proud to have kept the Big Bear in the family for more than 20 years and are working hard to continue providing clean, comfortable rooms at BEARable rates! Located 52 miles from the East Gate of Yellowstone, we have 66 rooms on the property. Big Bear Motel is walking distance to several great attractions in Cody including the world famous Cody Night Rodeo and the Old Trail Town. Being on the western edge of Cody, we are situated in a quiet part of town away from the bustle of downtown, which is about 2 miles away. All of our rooms have exterior entry and include: cable television, full bath (tub and shower), A/C and heat, free WiFi, and free coffee in the office in the mornings.
